Important information about appointments, payments, privacy, and more.

Appointments

• We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure we have the maximum time with you to provide good care. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment.

• We understand that conflicts arise. Should this happen, we request at least 48 hours notice that you need to reschedule. We will reschedule your appointment as soon as our schedule allows.

Financial

• We accept some insurance plans; please contact our office to confirm whether your specific plan is accepted and to discuss coverage for neuropsychological evaluations.

• Payment is expected prior to each appointment (including co-pays for insurance patients). Payments will be expected on the following schedule:

◦ At the Intake/Clinical Evaluation appointment.

◦ At the Testing appointment (this fee will cover the Feedback appointment).

• We accept: debit card, FSA/HSA, and all major credit cards.

Privacy

• Your safety and privacy are our priority. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of all medical records in accordance with HIPAA, the State of Maryland, and the ethical standards of the American Psychological Association.

• All information gathered during the evaluation is kept strictly confidential and will only be shared with a signed release from the patient or a parent/guardian, or when disclosure is legally mandated (e.g., by court order).

Severe Weather Policy

• In the event of severe weather, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling or, when feasible, transitioning to a virtual appointment. The safety of all is our top priority.
