Dr. Steven Porter
Neuropsychologist • PsyD
Dr. Steven Porter is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialty training and education in neuropsychology and forensic psychology. With 30 years of experience, he specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, with a focus on ADHD, language and learning disorders, executive dysfunction, educational evaluations, and identifying appropriate educational accommodations. Dr. Porter is also highly trained and experienced in providing comprehensive evaluations of adults to assess complex neurological conditions.
Dr. Porter earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, a Master of Social Work from Florida International University, and a Doctor of Psychology degree with specialization in Neuropsychology from the Miami Institute of Psychology. He then went on to complete a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology/Pediatric Neuropsychology at Johns Hopkins University Medical School/Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Porter has held various clinical and professional leadership positions, both as an officer in the United States Navy and as a civilian. He has served as the Navy's Pediatric Neuropsychology Specialist for Asia, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for special needs children, and managed both pediatric and adult neuropsychology units throughout his career. Identified as a specialist in forensic psychology, Dr. Porter served as an Expert Witness for the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit in the State of Florida for both child/adolescent and adult cases.
In addition to assessment and evaluation, Dr. Porter enjoys teaching university level courses, supervising psychology doctoral candidates, and mentoring psychology interns. He has been invited to speak at various national conferences on traumatic brain injury and has been interviewed by several national broadcasting companies and news publications for his expert opinion on brain injury, cognitive assessment, and monitoring of neurological conditions.
Dr. Kristin Landsinger
Neuropsychologist • PhD, ABPP
Dr. Kristin Landsinger is a board-certified clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across clinical, academic, and leadership settings. She earned a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Augustana College, an M.A. in Psychology from Northern Arizona University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She later completed a post-doctoral M.S. in Clinical Psychopharmacology at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Landsinger has provided psychological and neuropsychological services in a broad range of clinical and military environments, including deployed settings. As an officer in the United States Navy, she has held several key positions, including Division Officer of the Mental Health Department at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Officer in Charge of the Joint Stress Mitigation and Restoration Team, Assistant Professor at the U.S. Naval Academy, and Director of the Intrepid Spirit Concussion Recovery Center at Camp Lejeune. Dr. Landsinger also served as the Neuropsychology Subspeciality Leader for three years. She is currently in a senior leadership role at Navy Medicine Headquarters, where she oversees mental health and traumatic brain injury policy and programming for the Navy. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she continues to provide neuropsychological services to active-duty service members, retirees, and their families.
In her private practice, Dr. Landsinger offers comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults. Her areas of focus include ADHD, executive functioning challenges, learning disorders, and other cognitive concerns. Her approach is thorough, strengths-based, and designed to deliver clear, actionable recommendations that help patients and their families gain clarity, access appropriate resources, and build a foundation for long-term success.
Megan Geist
Neuropsychometrist • MA
Megan Geist is a highly experienced Psychology Associate and neuropsychometrist with over 16 years of expertise in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Towson University. Her extensive background spans clinical practice, research, and military healthcare settings.
Megan has been a valued member of the Kennedy Krieger Institute for 13 years, where she has been instrumental in developing and implementing new multi-disciplinary clinics and maintains expertise in administering and scoring neuropsychological, achievement, emotional, and intelligence measures for patients ranging from 6 months to late adulthood.
Megan expanded her expertise in military healthcare settings, serving as a psychometrist at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis and the United States Naval Academy. Working alongside Dr. Steven Porter and Dr. Kristin Landsinger, she helped establish the Neuropsychological Assessment Unit and provided specialized services to active duty military members, dependents, and beneficiaries. In this role, she administered baseline and post-concussion assessments to Naval Academy Midshipmen and conducted neuropsychological evaluations to diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders in pediatric dependents.
Throughout her career, Megan has contributed to important research in neuropsychology, co-authoring publications on sluggish cognitive tempo and reading comprehension, and presenting findings at national conferences including the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), Gerentological Society of America (GSA), and Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP). She is a member of both the National Association of Psychometrists and the National Academy of Neuropsychology, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and evidence-based practice.
Olga Porter
Neuropsychometrist • M.Ed.
Olga Porter, M.Ed., is a highly experienced psychometrist with over 15 years of expertise in adolescent and adult neuropsychological assessment. She earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania. This unique combination of analytical and clinical training has equipped Mrs. Porter with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of the cognitive and emotional factors that impact functioning.
Mrs. Porter's extensive work experience includes 12 years of distinguished service at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center within the Neuropsychology Service. In this position, she has played a key role in the evaluations of active-duty personnel, veterans, and family members presenting with a broad spectrum of cognitive, neurological, and psychiatric conditions, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and mood or anxiety disorders.
Mrs. Porter specializes in the standardized administration and scoring of comprehensive neuropsychological test batteries. She is well-versed in both traditional and computerized assessment tools and is attentive to ethical and culturally responsive practices. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and professionalism, as well as her warmth and compassion, Mrs. Porter consistently contributes to high-quality evaluations that inform diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
